Some colleges allow students to submit an appeal if their application was rejected for admission. Since a final decision was made on the original application, students must provide new and compelling information that will exponentially strengthen the original application.
While college have different appeal requirements, some of the most valuable new information can include: new higher test scores, significant increases in GPA and class rank, extenuating circumstances that were not reported in the original application, or a significant achievement that relates to a student's intended field of study.
